Georgine’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection exudes understated provocativeness and whimsicality.  This design house, founded to ‘evoke the power of femininity through seductive silhouettes enhanced by intricate detailing and extraordinary fabrics’ set the stage with high necklines, fitted silhouettes, playful accessories and dress details.  The quintessential Georgine woman balances fun and flirty with professional and youthful.  Season after season, since the designer’s launch in 2011, every collection has been perfectly tailored for the modern woman; one who does not succumb to a singular societal stereotype, but rather, embraces every facet of her unique personality.  This Fall/Winter collection was no exception.

The collection’s standout looks included a pink strapless dress adorned with colorful bows along the skirt’s hemline and accessorized with a red lips clutch purse.  This dress reclaims the color pink, which is too often associated with ‘just pretty,’ and instead made it unquestionably bold.  Another stunning ensemble was a plum colored velvet dress with a high-neckline and a subtle center cutout.  This dress was similarly adorned—this time with butterflies.  The juxtaposition of sophistication and eccentricity was refreshing to see.

From feminine pastels made powerful, to dark hues demanding attention, every Georgine ensemble was versatile enough to capture the unique essence of any woman’s personality.  As predicted, this design house surely did not disappoint with its Fall/Winter 2016 collection.
