Want It, Need It, Love It — Buy It!
Everyone always wants to dress differently. Don’t lie — nothing is worse than wearing your new over-the-knee, lace-up riding boots out on a Friday night only to see the chick two people over at the bar wearing the exact same pair. (And, she’s paired them with a flirty crochet crop top, dammit.) You no longer look “trendy,” you no longer look “cool.” You’re just another fish in the sea and it sucks.
You go out of your way to purchase something new and unique, but something that is still categorized as trendy and affordable fashion. And yet you still seem to be one step behind the hippest chick out there. Why, you ask yourself? Maybe it’s the fact that every woman and her mother shops at Anthropologie, or that Pinterest is no longer just an outlet for those deemed as “artsy.” Regardless, it’s never okay to be the next best dresser.
However, a new and improved online shopping website has emerged recently that, in my opinion, surpasses online shopping dynasties like Etsy and Nasty Gal. Wanelo (want it, need it, love it — get it?) launched last year and is an online shopping treasure chest that not only displays pictures of the coolest new and affordable fashion, accessories, and home adornments - allowing you to search its database of coolness using keywords - but also links you to an online shopping site where you can purchase your item of choice. You can even create a username so that you can interact with fellow shoppers, view what’s trending and save tagged items for later. Oh, and did we mention that it’s available as a social media app?
It’s like Pinterest on crack, only better — way more appealing to a wide-eyed shopper and highly addictive.
Additionally, the products featured on Wanelo are things you may have never seen — or heard of — before. Glow-in-the-dark beer pong sets, black high-waisted sailor pants with gold buttons, patchwork red leopard print suede pumps, cosmic space galaxy star-print sweatshirt, wall mount fishbowl aquarium tank, chunky holographic nail polish…the list goes on and on and on. Anything is possible to find on Wanelo— and in vast varieties. (Who’d have known there were over 8,000 different styles of ear cuffs!?)
Now’s the time to stop settling for looking like everyone else. It’s time to start looking like you and find cool and affordable fashion on this new online shopping website.
