There’s a hidden secret I'm dying to share. I'm sure many of you use Pandora religiously, or some version thereof.  Personally, I'm a loyal Spotify user (best $10 I spend every month).  A few weeks ago, I came home after an awful Monday of work and class, with mounds of work and homework to do before Tuesday.  My roommate was in the middle of our dining room, music blaring, cocktail in hand, dancing around the kitchen. I pretty much dropped my bags, put on sweatpants, and joined her, because sometimes a 2-hour dance party on a Monday night is just what the doctor ordered.

However, that's not the point of the story. The point is that we danced to the Ke$ha Pandora station, and it changed my life. I'll wait for you to roll your eyes, because I would too.  BUT – without offering nary a thumbs up or thumbs down,  Pandora played 2 hours of non-stop, get-your-heart-racing pop dance music that had us singing and be-bopping around our house.

I introduced a few friends to the Ke$ha dance party phenomenon a few weeks later, and they too were skeptical. A few songs in, they were converts, and after spending the weekend together in March, the Ke$ha Pandora station was the only thing we listened to. It's got all the songs that are on the radio, some songs you've never heard of (old school, awesome girly pop songs) and in general it's the kind of music that makes you smile.

And don't tell anyone, but sometimes when I'm having a really crummy day and need a pick-me-up, I close my office door, unmute my computer, turn the volume up just a little too loud, and have my very own break. It never fails to leave me with a huge smile and an uplifted mood.

If peppy pop music isn't your thing, feel free to disregard - but if it is, welcome to the club and you're welcome.

Smart tip: I also happen to really fancy the Spotify Top 100 tracks list as well! Do you have any Pandora stations you recommend?
