I’m not joking when I say my nails are always painted a shiny gold.  Twice a week I sit down, remove my nail polish, and re-apply the gold polish.  I really dislike chipped nails, so yes, painting my nails twice a week is completely necessary.  Though I may be a creature of habit, I do know the importance of venturing outside of my comfort zone (I switch between pink and navy polish for my toes...) But with the new bold polish colors for Spring 2015, I'm ready for a statement making matching mani-pedi!

1) The Blues

Garden Variety, Essie, $8.50

Set Sail, Sally Hansen, $4.97

It looks like true blues are out and pool blues are in this season!  I'm dreaming of days spent by the water already!

2) The Pinks

Tra-la-la, Dior, $27

Hydrangea Pink, Burberry, $22

Vibrant neon-pinks are taking a backseat this season.  Pair your floral pattern dresses and bold statement necklaces with a softer shade of pink.

3) The Oranges

Coral Red, Burberry, $22

Rose Attrape Couer, Lancome, $15

Orange you glad you decided to buy a new bottle of nail polish?  Your spring wardrobe thanks you. :)

4) The Reds

The Thrill of Brazil, OPI, $9

Ablazing!, Sally Hansen, $4.97

While deep reds are perfect for winter, these bright shades are perfect for the sunny beach days that lie ahead.

5) The Metallics

Haven't the Foggiest, OPI, $9

Margot- Bombshell, Julep, $14

Why yes, I do own this shade of gold polish!  It's most certainly my go-to shade for everyday wear.  I’m obviously a gold girl, not a silver lover - but this silver from OPI may have me switching to the dark side (at least for a night).
