I just watched the documentary The True Cost and was so surprised at the effects of fast fashion. It definitely made me think differently about consumption and sustainability!

  • Hi All,

So I use my instagram (@jesssheid) to provide insight into my (virtual) fitness coaching, my fitness routines, meal prep ideas, and just daily motivation. I would love to provide you guys with some value as well but I wanted your input as to what would bring the most value to your lives?

    - New Fitness programs, workout moves, things to do at home?
    - Accountability groups and how they work
    - Nutrition/Meal Prep ideas/Recipes
    - The secret to how I've kept 18 pounds off (while still eating/drinking and enjoying life)
    - The coaching opportunity - what it is, what it means and how you can learn more?

If you want to follow me on instagram for a few days and then answer back here I would love to know what I can share with you!

looking forward to getting to know you all!
    xoxo
    Jess

Hang in there- creativity comes in waves and like you said cant be scheduled. I like following artists on social media and reading their memoirs and essays about writing to remind myself that a lot of the literature, movies, tv, art, ... I admire comes from struggle and not in one piece- no novel ever has been written in one draft. That thing that's important is to find YOUR way to get to creativity.

You might have heard of this but I have heard great things about Elizabeth Gilbert's book on Creativity if you're looking for more advice on how to connect and nourish your creativity: https://www.elizabethgilbert.com/

  • I just saw the first season of The Mindy Project and it's FABULOUS!!!

I didn't have a hulu account (Netflix and Amazon only) so that's what kept me from watching it, but I'm doing a one month free trial. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Mindy is such an inspiration as a hilarious writer, creator, actress. So witty.

If you don't have hulu, Start a free one month subscription to watch it this weekend!

    Hi Meagan!

My friend and I have been talking about expanding our minds by reading news from sources that might challenge our views by coming from different backgrounds. In my case, that's conservative sources and I was thinking you & bSmart ladies in this group might have thoughts on this.

What are some of the conservative news sources on US politics and society you use/recommend?

And/or what US news sources do you think are some of the best ones?
