Executive Assistant for Founder of impactful global philanthropy on the Ted-X/Global sustainability/UN 2030 platform
Overview
A well-known and well respected thought leader is seeking an Executive Assistant/right arm. This role offers incredible exposure, as you will assist the Executive Director with all business matters. In this role you will provide administrative support; manage calendar, book travel, handle correspondence, liaise with contacts, create presentations, ad-hoc projects and manage the day-to-day needs in the most effective and efficient way possible. The Executive is a hard-working, busy person, and needs an EA that can keep up and ensure the days are running seamlessly. This is a once in a lifetime role to support a high-level, high profile individual in a fast-paced environment.
Hours: 9am-6pm + flexibility as needed. This is not a typical 9-5 job. It is a MISSION.
Salary: 50k
Responsibilities
-Answer, screen, and route phone calls and emails
-Handle schedules and calendars
-Manage travel arrangements
-Oversee special projects
-Create presentations
-Manage day-to-day needs
-Research to become an expert on projects
-Anticipate needs and plan accordingly for them
-Attend to confidential information
-Assist with meeting coordination
Qualifications / Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree
-1-2 years of support experience
-Good judgment
-Very proactive and thorough approach
-Detail-oriented, strategic, organized, and quick-witted
-Ability and willingness to take initiative
-Exhibits utmost professionalism
-Ability to interact with variety of people
-Desire to learn and be challenged
